Wedding Venues in Birmingham

Birmingham's venue scene reflects its history. Former factories, workshops and warehouses around the Jewellery Quarter and the canal network have been turned into event spaces with exposed brick and high ceilings, while the city centre has plenty of hotels and function suites able to seat large guest lists. Head out towards Shirley, Halesowen or the Warwickshire and Worcestershire borders and the mood changes to country houses, golf clubs and converted barns.

Booking and timing

Popular Saturdays in late spring and summer are often booked well over a year ahead, so couples with flexible dates tend to find more choice on Fridays, Sundays or in the quieter months. Prices vary with the day of the week and season, so ask each venue what is included before comparing.

Getting guests there

Birmingham is one of the easiest cities in the country to reach. New Street has direct trains from most of Britain, Birmingham Airport is close by, and the M6, M5 and M42 all run around the city. If you choose a rural venue, check parking and taxi availability for the end of the night.
