Wedding Bands in Coventry

The 2 Tone ska movement started in Coventry at the end of the seventies, and some couples like to nod to it with a ska set or a few classics on the dance floor. Beyond that, bands covering the city play the full range of pop, indie, rock and Motown, while acoustic and string acts suit ceremonies.

The venue question

Coventry weddings spread well beyond the city into Warwickshire, with country houses, barns and hotels around Kenilworth, Warwick and Leamington Spa. Rural and historic venues often have sound limiters or set curfews, sometimes as early as eleven, because of nearby homes or licence conditions. City venues may be more flexible. Get the venue's rules before you speak to bands, as they affect what lineup and volume will work.

Planning the evening

Most bands play two sets of about an hour with a playlist between, starting after the first dance. Confirm setup times early, especially if your ceremony and reception are in the same room and need turning around.

Book early

Spring and summer Saturdays are the first to go. Couples searching here also look at Nuneaton, Bedworth and Royal Leamington Spa.
