A perfect venue in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales
England's largest historic county offers couples a lot of variety. North Yorkshire takes in the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors and a dramatic coastline, with venues ranging from stone barns and country houses to seaside hotels. York has medieval streets and the Minster, while Harrogate is known for its Victorian character and gardens.
West and South Yorkshire, around Leeds and Sheffield, have hotels, mills and converted industrial spaces, along with countryside venues on the edges of the Peak District and the Pennines. East Yorkshire has open farmland, the Wolds and the coast.
The East Coast Main Line serves York and Leeds with fast links to London and Scotland, the A1(M) and M1 run through the region, and Leeds Bradford Airport is convenient for some guests.
Peak dates often go a year or more ahead. Civil ceremonies must be at a register office or approved premises, with notice given at your local register office. Check details with the register office covering your venue.
