Give your guests the party of a lifetime!
Luton's long-running carnival celebrates the town's many cultures, and that range shows in its wedding music. Couples here book function bands for pop and soul, dhol players and bhangra acts for Asian weddings, steel pans for summer drinks receptions, and acoustic duos for ceremonies.
Hotels and banqueting suites in and around Luton are often set up for loud music. Many couples also look at country houses and barns in the Chilterns or around Harpenden, Hitchin and St Albans, where sound limiters and curfews are more common. Ask your venue about restrictions before contacting bands.
Bands typically play two sets of around an hour. If several acts are involved, agree a clear running order with the venue.
With the airport, the M1 and good rail links into London, Luton is easy to reach for guests and musicians, though it is worth allowing extra time for motorway traffic on a Friday or Saturday.
Summer weekends fill quickly. Couples also search Harpenden, Hitchin, Stevenage and Hemel Hempstead.
Wedding UK currently lists 1 wedding bands covering Luton.
